The PIAGET 12-Year Education Journey (P12YEJ) provides an integrative and iterative journey that moves all students towards one direction – to become PIAGETians. Both academic and non-academic programmes are integrated in a manner that supports the holistic development of the child. Every programme builds upon earlier programmes, bringing about an iterative experience towards a virtuous cycle of growth.
Milestone Programmes pursues the 6 overarching objectives that we believe are instrumental in a student’s 12-year education journey with us, we offer over twenty (20) CCA (Co-Curricular Activity) and ASA (After School Activity) from sports to non-sports options. Through these activities, students are not merely learning new skills, but also acknowledging and developing the 21st Century Skills which are mostly needed in this changing world such as Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, and Creativity.
The SNA immersion programme offers the opportunity for students from Primary to High School to spend between a week to a month at one of our partner schools in Singapore, China, Australia, Germany, France and Japan.
This activity is designed to give students an understanding of, and respect for, different cultures, values and ways of life while widening their individual perspectives and social experiences. Students also develop independence through travel and have the opportunity to build new relationships while promoting their own school during the process.
Learning in SNA expands beyond the classroom walls. Our students embark on local learning journeys, Service Learning, Leadership Trainings as well as overseas immersion programmes to experience the real world. Local Learning Journeys are integrated into our curriculum. These activities include experiential field trips and outdoor education camps and are fully subsidized by the school. SNA’s well-planned Learning Journey Programme ensures that each student experiences an enriching and meaningful learning journey.
The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is the world leading youth achievement award based in the UK and has helped countless young people all over the world to develop confidence, resilience, compassion, leadership, communication skills, and much more. We offer all three levels of the award (Bronze, Silver, Gold) and students are encouraged to take part in this program at their own choice. They achieve their award by completing an individual programme of activities in four sections – volunteering, physical, skills, and adventurous journey.
The students that would like to join the student internship program will have the opportunity to be creative and innovative with ideas while experiencing a real-life working setup for a specified period of time. Students will be given the opportunity to join different types of businesses that provide the necessary training in a work environment through hands-on situations only found in the corporate world. Also, students will develop skills learnt through real-life scenarios that will enhance their future resume and increase their career options while they experience workplace culture, politics and business etiquette.
